Ballon is a web based tool, turnkey, for conferences and events with a public. The goal is to pull up questions and comments that will then be displayed for the speakers. For example, if I organize a panel discussion with 100 people, instead of trusting a microphone that will circulate in the audience, by using Balloon I enable all the participants to ask them directly with their web devices. The most popular questions will be displayed onscreen or on the speaker’s computer.
Launched in June, Balloon proposes a web and mobile solution that enables the public to participate during an event. The audience can ask questions directly from their mobile devices or computers. The questions are visible for everyone, and each participant can vote for the most interesting ones, allowing the speakers to adapt live to the public’s expectations (...)
Thanks to the many comments and feedbacks we received after the Techcrunch France remix, we now know that what you appreciated during this event, was the live interaction and the fact that your questions and comments were highly took into consideration. It’s thanks to our partner Balloon that we could have a personalized system to handle the Q&A system during the event, but also a dashboard that displayed live all the Tweets and #tcfremix (that arrived 2nd at the French Trending Topics), a cloud of key words, and a message or chosen question.(...)
I present you Balloon, a young French start-up that began developing in january 2010, selling his services since june 2010. First web service that enables your event to become more interactive and facilitates dialogues between a speaker and his audience.
